William "Dale" Peavy

     William “Dale” Peavy, age 57, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024 at his home with family by his side. He was born on May 11, 1967 to the late William Elliott Peavy and Delores Prescott Peavy. He lived in Sylvania, Georgia all his life.

      After graduating high school, Dale worked for Koyo Bearings JTEKT, where he met his loving wife of 23 years, Patti Peavy. In his free time, Dale loved to fish, hunt, and spend time with his family, as well as his 3 beloved cats, Puff, Mary-Kate, and Ashley. He was described as an honest man and a wonderful husband. He never lied, never cheated, and never took his wedding ring off.

     Those who will cherish Dale’s memory include his Wife, Patti Peavy; step-daughters, Kelly Ringele and Mikki Frano; Brother, Dennis Elliott Peavy; Sisters and Brother-in-Laws, Dorothy Peavy Waters, Carol Peavy (Barry) Bonino, Susan Peavy (John) Griffin, Debra Peavy Prysock, Joni Peavy (Andy) Perryman, Vicki Peavy Watkins, Kathy Peavy Tucker, and Norma Peavy (Jeff) Sawyers; as well as several grandchildren, and 14 nieces and nephews.

     Honorary pallbearers include Thomas Rountree, Billy Smith, Mike Smith, and David Oliver.

     Visitation will take place at Thompson Strickland Waters Funeral Home at 11AM on Saturday, November 9, 2024.

     A Funeral Service will follow at The Chapel of Thompson Strickland Waters at 12PM on Saturday, November 9, 2024 with Rev. Danny Jenkins Officiating.

     In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
