MICHAEL BODDIFORD

Michael “Mike” Dewey Boddiford, age 66, of Sylvania, and widower of Elizabeth Campo Boddiford, passed away on Wednesday morning, June 29, 2022, at Optim Medical Center - Screven.

He was born on October 6, 1955, to the late Dewey Earl Boddiford, Jr. and the late Anne Brant Boddiford. He was a machinist by trade after working many years at Torrington, Hill’s Machine Shop and King Finishing Co. before retiring. Mike, also known as “Chicken Man”, loved to hunt, fish and race cars.

Survivors include his daughter, Heather Howard of Sylvania; his grandchildren, Lily Howard, Mason Forehand, and Sadie Forehand; aunts, Patricia B. Malone of Seattle, WA, and Nell “Cindy” B. Williams of Sylvania; sisters-in-law and spouses, Susan & David Crews of Sylvania, Mary & Lewis Sheley of Sylvania and Debbie & Rusty Forehand of Sylvania and many cousins and close friends.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday morning at 10:00 A.M., July 2, 2022, at Buck Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Dr. Karen R. Zeigler.
