MICHAEL WILLIAM ROYAL, SR.

Sylvania – Michael Royal, age 54, of Sylvania, widow of Theresa Hodges Royal passed away on Friday evening, September 2, 2022, at his residence with his family at his side.

Michael was born October 12, 1967, in Savannah, GA, to the late couple, Ronald “Ronnie” Ralph Royal, Sr. and Hazel Hall Royal. Michael worked as a painter. He enjoyed mud bogging and working on his cars.

In addition to his wife and parents, Michael was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Royal and his grandchild, Mary Helen Hodges.

Survivors include his daughters, Hazel Royal, Haley Royal, Melissa “Sissy” Royal, Amy Hodges; sons, Michael Royal, Jr., J.C. Hodges, Matt Hodges; sister, Sandra Maddox; brother, Ronnie Royal; 9 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced at a later date.
