Sylvania – Marion Saxon Kimbrell Holton, age 97, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2019, at Syl-View Health & Rehab in Sylvania. She was born in Jenkins County the late Otis & Mattie Billingsly Saxon. She worked as a dietician, was a member of Green Hill Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School Teacher and also served as a former Lay Leader at Swallow Savannah United Methodist Church in Allendale, SC. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband: Herman L. Kimbrell; Daughter: Judy K. Strange; Granddaughter: Flora Revesz; Sisters: Mildred Corley, Eva Streit, Susie Griner and Estelle Midlo; Brothers: Hugh Saxon and Harmon Saxon.
Survivors: Daughters and Son-In-Law: Diane K. & Bill Revesz of Melbourne, FL and Angie K. Ferguson of Allendale, SC; Son and Daughter-In-Law: Arnold & Margaret Kimbrell of Sylvania; Grandchildren: Renee Garvin, Kim Thompson, Hope Goyt, Jimmy Kimbrell, Joel Smith, Barry Smith, Barnie Smith, Annie Ferguson, Ken Newton, Kelly Newton and Trent Revesz; 15 Great-Grandchildren; Several Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation: Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Ellis Chapel United Methodist Church.
Funeral Services: Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 3:00 PM at the Ellis Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Karen Zeigler officiating. Burial will follow at Ellis Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Jimmy Kimbrell, Joel Smith, Barry Smith, Barnie Smith, Derrick Parker and Tyler Campo.
Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
