JUANA MARCELO TUMALIUAN

Juana Marcelo Tumaliuan, age 88, widow of Louis S. Tumaliuan, passed away on Wednesday morning, July 26, 2023, at her residence.

Juana was born on August 21, 1934, in Isabela Philippines, to the late Florencio Marcelo and Rafaela Sahagun Marcelo. Juana was a homemaker and a member of Believers Church in Sylvania, GA.

In addition to her parents, Juana was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Tumaliuan; sister, Evangelina Tabilog; and her brothers, Javier Marcelo and Rogelio Marcelo.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Virginia & William Moats, Louise Tumaliuan, Dr. Perla & Salvador Garcia, Marilou Tumaliuan; son and daughter-in-law, Samuel & Lillian Tumaliuan; sister, Errol Bugauan; 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home Chapel from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Rev. Dorsia Atkinson will officiate the funeral service that will commence at 11:00 AM, with interment to follow at Screven County Memorial Cemetery.
