JACK ALTON BROWER, SR.

Jack Alton Brower, Sr., age 86, passed away on Friday, December 8th, 2023. He was born in Screven County to the late Henry Brower and Janie Bazemore Brower. He was a retired retail district manager for the F.W. Woolworth company where he worked for 30+ years. He was baptized at Green Hill Baptist Church. He enjoyed working on mechanical things, fishing, hunting, and playing the stock market. He was a veteran of the Army and also served in the Army reserves.

He is preceded in death by his Parents: Henry Brower and Janie Bazemore Brower; Brothers: Leslie, Leholmes and Edward; Sisters: Lucille, Mary, Caroline.

Survivors: Wife: Judy Rogers Brower; Son: Jack Brower Jr wife Karen; Daughter: Michele Brower Barrett. Granddaughter Angela Brower Hobbs husband Bill Hobbs; Grandson: James Brower; Great Granddaughters: Sophie and Maddie; Sisters Ruth husband Don Bazemore and Exodyne husband Frank Johnson.

Rev. David Sharp graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 12th, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Screven County Memorial Cemetery.
