George W. Howard, Jr., age 79, of Sylvania, passed away Saturday morning, March 4, 2023, at PruittHealth – Bethany in Millen.

George was born in Sylvania, GA, December 4, 1943, to the late couple, George Howard, Sr, and Margie Hurst Howard. George was a member of the Double Heads Baptist church and worked as a logger before retirement.

In addition to his parents, George, Sr. & Margie, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bobby Howard, and Randy Howard.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at Double Heads Baptist Church Cemetery.
