Midville, GA – Estill Lamar Burke, age 78, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020, at Augusta University, Summerville Campus, in Augusta, GA. He was born in Emanuel County, GA to the late James Estill & Ruby Mae Brown Burke. He was a retired farmer and worked with Jenkins County Maintenance Department. He was a member of Deep Creek Freewill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his Parents; Sisters: Margie Woodell, Sydney Rachel, Allene B. Bell and Mary Elliott; Brother-In-Law: Gerald Woodell.
Survivors: Wife: Linda Wells Burke of Millen, GA; Daughter: Jennifer B. Scott of Hepzibah, GA; Sister and Brother-In-Law: Shirley B. & Ronnie Waters of Sylvania; Brothers-In Law: Luther Bell of Twin City, GA and Charlie Elliott of Swainsboro, GA; Grandchildren: Brianne Stahmann (Scott) of Pickett, WI, Jamika Scott, Justin Scott, Brittany Scott, all of Grovetown, GA; Great-Grandson: Aiden Johnson; Several Nieces and Nephews.
Graveside Service: Wednesday, July 08, 2020 at Deep Creek Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery, 5614 Old Savannah Rd, Midville, GA at 2:00 PM with Rev. Butch Taylor officiating. Burial following. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
