Newington – Edith Leona Kitchens Skinner, age 86, passed away Monday, February 24, 2020, at her residence in Newington. She was born in Leesburg, AL to the late Lonnie Andy & Celann Lindsey Kitchens and was the widow of Nathan McCoy Skinner. She was a retired seamstress, retiring from the White Stag Co. after 20 years in the Cutting Dept. She was also a Jehovah’s Witness and loved spending time with her family.
Survivors: Sons and Daughter-In-Law: Marty Skinner and Donny & Pamela Skinner, all of Newington; Step-Son: Ronnie Skinner of Ludowici, GA; Sister: Emily Joanne Knight of Forest Park, GA; Brother: Howard Andy Kitchens of Fitzgerald, GA; 5 Grandchildren; 12 Great-Grandchildren; 1 Great-Great-Grandchild; Several Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation: Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Richmond Hill First Baptist Church Cemetery.
Graveside Services: Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Richmond Hill First Baptist Church Cemetery with Marty Skinner and Howard Kitchens officiating. Burial following.
