Betty Mae Miller Haigh

Rocky Ford - Mrs. Betty Mae Miller Haigh, age 84, passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021, at her home with her family at her side. She was born September 1, 1936, in Brickeys, Arkansas to the late Carl Roscoe Miller and the late Grace Maudine Littleton Miller.  She married Joe Haigh and they shared the next 60 years together raising their family. They moved to Screven County in 2001, where she became an active member of the Rocky Ford Baptist Church.  Betty had worked as a pharmacy tech, and she enjoyed reading and quilting.

Survivors include her husband, Joe Haigh of Rocky Ford; two daughters, Lori and her husband Ken Giles of Johns Creek, Georgia and Heather Clay of Okeechobee, Florida; a son, Joe and his wife Jennifer Haigh; ten grandchildren, Tiffany Harding, Greg Giles, Emily Clay, Doug Giles, Katherine Giles, Mikayla Haigh, Ashley Clay, Joey Haigh, Logan Clay and Lucas Clay: two great-grandchildren, Maxwell and Jackson Harding; two brothers, Warren and his wife Ester Miller of Cameron, Oklahoma, and Lewis Ray and his wife Dorothy Miller of Forney, Texas, and two sisters, Marie and her husband Dave Brown of Lazbuddie, Texas and Mary Jane Stoner of Kaufman, Texas.

Services will be held at a later time.
