Bettye Carlton Camby

Sylvania – Bettye Carlton Camby, age 91, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2020, at the Bridge at Lawrenceville, in Lawrenceville, GA. She was born in Screven County, GA to the late Malcolm Henry & Annie Cleland Carlton. She was retired after 30 years of service from the ASCS office (1958-1988). She was a member of Sylvania First Baptist Church and Bible Witness Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her Parents; her Husband of 28 years: Robert F. (Bob) Camby; Son: Ronald King; Sister: Jane C. Quattlebaum.

Survivors: Son and Daughter-In-Law: Malcolm & Cyndee King of Lawrenceville, GA; Daughter-In-Law: Patricia King of Lawrenceville, GA; Brother and Sister-In-Law: Roy & Barbara Carlton of McKinney, TX; Brother-In-Law: Carey Quattlebaum of Bluffton, SC; Grandchildren: Justin King, Michael (Amanda) King, Brandon King, Sarah (Mike) Snow and Devin King; Great-Grandchildren: Peyton, Piper & Tristan Snow and Rami King; And a number of Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation: Sunday, June 28, 2020 at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home at 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM.

Graveside Service: Sunday, June 28, 2020 at Screven County Memorial Cemetery at 3:30 PM with Dr. Charlie Cooper officiating. Burial following.
