Barbara Reddick Lee

Sylvania- Barbara Reddick Lee, age 86, went home to heaven on the bright, sunny morning of Wednesday, July 10, 2024, while her daughter held her hand.

She is a mother that gave endless love to her children and grandchildren. Her love language was serving others. Her whole earthly life was filled with raising and caring for children. Whether she was feeding, clothing, or driving someone, it was the constant theme of her life. She was always in motion, at home, cooking, cleaning or preparing for the next thing to do; she drove hundreds of thousands of miles to town, around town and then back to town again. She loved it and that's who she was. My Momma lived a big, beautiful, full life.

She was born Barbara Earle Reddick, to Mr. and Mrs. Ralph E. Reddick, on August 31,1937,  in Savannah, GA. She was married in June of 1958 to James Cecil Lee, for 44 years until his passing, in November of 2002.

She is predeceased by her parents; her brother, Jimmy; her sister, Rosemary; daughter, Melissa; son, Jamie; grandson, Quenton, and great-grandchild, Baby Rain.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Dona Lee Griffin, Rhonda Lee Holley and Vonda Lee Spann, as well as sons, Ray Lawrence Lee and James Mitchum Lee; grandchildren, Terri Lee, Jessica, Joman, Devon, James, Jonathan, Cody, Jacob, Dustin, Landra, Amber, Lawson, Samantha, Caitlin, Jamie Lynn, Brady, Logan, Jaycee, Addison; great-grandchildren, Kylie, Christopher, Avian, Landon, Riley, Aubrey, Hunter, Greyson, Sierra, Adaline and Lorelai; brothers and sisters-in-law, Edward and Marian Reddick, Grady and Janis Reddick; nieces and nephews, Rochelle, Gene, Ryan and Rebecca.

Visitation will be held at Thompson Strickland Waters Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at 6 P.M.

A Memorial Service will follow the visitation at Thompson Strickland Waters Funeral Home at 7 P.M.
