CHRISTOPHER ALAN MICCOLI
Christopher “Chris” Alan Miccoli, of Sylvania, was called back home on Tuesday evening, December 5, 2023, at Memorial University Medical Center-Savannah surrounded by family.
Chris was born on July 17, 1967, at the Vanderburg Air Force Base in Lompoc, California, to the late Armando Samuel Miccoli, Jr. and Shirley Ann Doyle Bryant. Chris was a U.S. Army veteran and gave 15 years of service before his discharge. Chris enjoyed building guns, hunting, gardening, and watching the UGA Bulldogs. He loved to travel, and cherished time with family and his favorite side-kick, Blue.
Chris was preceded in death by his father, Armando Samuel Miccoli, Jr., his brother, Armando Miccoli, III and his sister, Elizabeth Renee Miccoli.
Survivors include his wife, Melaina Joyner Miccoli; mother, Shirley Ann Doyle Bryant; daughters and sons-in-law, Crista & Jason Airhart, Cara & Chris Permenter, Tiffany Miccoli; grandchildren, Tori Airhart, Adriann Transue, Laci Airhart, Cayden Permenter, Ian Lange, Charlie Lange, Aubrey Permenter and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 2 PM to 3 PM on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home. Rev. James Daniel Joyner will officiate the memorial service that will begin at 3 P.M. in the Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home Chapel.
